It seems like EVERYtime I take antibiotics I get thrush.  It’s really annoying and makes me feel even worse than I did before taking the antibiotics. I had got the Advanced Probiotic to review from Number One Nutrition, and so I decided to start taking it to see if I could prevent the thrush.

When choosing a probiotic, it’s always a good idea to go after one that has more than one type of “good” bacteria. I was really pleased to see that the Advanced Probiotics from Number One Nutrition has following bacteria in it:

  • Probiotic Bacteria
  • Bacillus Subtillus
  • L. Rhamnosus
  • L. Casei
  • B. Longum
  • L. Acidophilus
  • L. Plantarum
  • B. Breve

Size compared to the apple on my MacBook. Couldn’t think of anything else to compare it to.

So far, I’ve not got thrush!  I am so glad, and plan to keep using the probiotics. Maybe I’ll start seeing some of the other digestive and immune system support that probiotics can provide.

If you are interested in purchasing a bottle (or two) of Advanced Probiotics from Number One Nutrition, you can get them on Amazon or on their website.  They are currently (as on 12/29/2014) about $20 for a 30 day supply. That price is well worth it to me to avoid thrush again.
