Marky Vacuum Insulated Tumbler Review

As most of us know Father’s day is next month, and if you didn’t know, Father’s day is June 19th.  I have decided to come up with a few ideas of gifts you can give your dad this year.

IMG_0981The Marky vacuum insulated tumbler is very high on my list for Father’s Day gift ideas.  I am in love with this tumbler, and I think everyone should have one.

If you have not heard about the vacuum insulated tumbler craze, here is the deal.  These tumblers will keep a beverage ice cold or very hot for hours.  With the Marky tumbler, I have been able to keep coffee hot for about 4ish hours!!  That is a huge deal when you forget you made coffee to begin with. The tumbler works just as well to keep drinks cold, when I tried it, I took water from the fridge, and it kept it cold for at least 3 hours, beyond that I don’t know, I got thirsty…

The Marky tumblers are 20oz and are made from high quality food grade stainless steel.  If you were thinking about getting one of those name brand tumblers, stop, this one is literally more than half the cost of the name brand, and it works just as well.  You can find the Marky tumblers on Amazon, and, like I said before, would make an awesome Father’s Day gift.

Wave3 Coffee Review

Wave3 Coffee Review

One of the things I LOVE about having this blog is getting to try new things. Out of all the things I get to try, however, coffee has to remain one of my favorite. That’s why I was so excited when I got the Wave3 coffee in the mail.

Vaccation 2015

The package actually came while we were on vacation, and when my sister told me it had arrived, I was ready to get home and have an awesome cup of coffee, since the good coffee on our cruise ship was far from free, and the free coffee was far from the best cup of coffee I had ever had.

I opened the package as soon as I got home, and I was suddenly hit with the wonderful aroma of a well roasted coffee. I was eager to have a cup, but I needed to wait since I had not slept in about 20 hours and had to go to bed.

The next day, I could hardly contain my excitement as I brewed my very first cup of Wave3 coffee. The first sip of good coffee in over a week was almost overwhelming. When the bold but not bitter, robust yet smooth flavors hit my mouth, I knew I was home.

Wave3 also has some interesting claims about their coffee that I could not personally verify. They claim to have 7 health benefits, but I am not sure I can fully verify those unless I continue to drink their coffee everyday (which is a possibility along with a few of my other favorite brands listed in reviews on my site) Here is the list of the 7 health benefits

.

Top 7 Health Benefits of WAVE3 Coffee…

According to Wikipedia, The Third Wave of Coffee refers to a current movement to produce high-quality coffee, where coffee is an artisanal foodstuff, like wine, rather than a commodity. Wave3 takes this concept even further by sourcing not only the best tasting coffee beans, but the most nutritionally superior as well.

WAVE3 contains essential nutrients including Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Manganese, Potassium, Magnesium and Niacin. These nutrients occur naturally in WAVE3, remember we’re organic and nothing artificial is added.

WAVE3 improves energy levels and brain function. This includes memory, mood, vigilance, reaction times and general cognitive function. We think our customers are the smartest people in the world!

WAVE3 increases the burning of fat in your body while boosting your metabolic rate.

WAVE3 can drastically improve physical performance through increased adrenaline levels and release fatty acids from your fat tissues. Many WAVE3 fans enjoy a robust cup of WAVE3 about a half an hour before heading to the gym.

WAVE3 helps fight depression and makes you happier. No wonder WAVE3 coffee lovers are always smiling!

WAVE3 contains massive antioxidants. Drinking 3 cups daily could make WAVE3 the biggest source of Antioxidants in your diet… in the average American diet WAVE3 beats out the antioxidants of all fruits and vegetables… combined.

The only problem I had with the coffee was determining the specific flavors of the coffee, but after reading the Amazon product description and the reviews, most people say that there is are chocolate and berry tones.  Once I read that, I could slightly taste it, but it definitely not overpowering like some of the coffee currently on the market.

Overall, I love this coffee, and very happy to say that Wave3 is USDA Certified Organic, Fair Trade, Sustainably-grown, and is roasted in the good ole’ USA.

So, if you are ready to get your very own bag of Wave3 coffee, head on over to Amazon,http://amzn.com/B00PJTQVPK, (the only place I’ve found this coffee for sale) and either grab a bad before they sell out, or have Amazon email you when more bags become available.Disclaimer

Two Volcanoes Coffee Review

two volcanoes review

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I L-O-V-E coffee!  That is why I was so excited to try the 100% Guatemala coffee from Two Volcanoes.

Two Volcanoes CoffeeThis whole bean coffee available on Amazon, is really good.   The smell makes my whole house smell wonderful when I open the bag.  The Two Volcanoes coffee has a nice smooth flavor with notes of floral, spice, and maybe some chocolate. And if you are like me and enjoy coffee all throughout the day, this is a good one that can be enjoyed at any time.

Two Volcanoes CoffeeThe organic coffee beans from Two Volcanoes is grown at 6,000 ft above sea level, and are processed using a wet method, which ensures that each bean is evenly dried to perfection.

Two Volcanoes Coffee

Overall, I loved this coffee, and I think I might purchase some more when this bag runs out.

If you are interested in purchasing some Two Volcanoes Coffee, like I said above, you can do so on Amazon. Last I checked (12/31/14) they were currently waiting on a restock, but I wouldn’t think they should be out too much longer.
